Prairie Home CompHyundai!

Wednesday took us from Duluth, MN west through Minnesota and North Dakota on I-94 to Bismarck, ND. Since I don't have much time or a great internet connection, I'll give you the whirlwind tour.

This is what the drive through Minnesota looked like.......straight out of Prairie Home Companion; Thanks, Garrison Keillor!

Small Town Halls with lots of American Flags
Small Towns with no stop lights
Lutheran Churches!

Small towns with small town stores
Small Town Water Towers
Obnoxious Tourist Folk
From Minnesota we crossed over into North Dakota in Fargo and took I-94 all the way through the southern part of the state to Bismarck, ND. All of the flooding in the state is centered in Minot, ND, which is north of our route, so we didn't have any meaningful issues along the way.

North Dakota looks like this (now I'll save you the trip):

There's a sign.
There's the road.
There's a field.
There's a field with cows.
(So, guess what it means when signs say, "BEWARE: Open Range".....)
There's some flooding on the road.
There's more flooding on the road.
There's our campsite.....which was next to a field with cows.
There's our tent and the Hyundai!
Thanks for checking in!
